Impossible series : Television

Television 📺

If I were to tell you that the television was a written off invention, you would probably say I'm making this stuff up. Yet, the invention of the television wasn't as celebrated as it is today.
Radio pioneer Lee De Forest declared the television to be a commercial and financial impossibility and he made this declaration in 1926; just 1 year after the first successful public display of the television by John Logie Baird. He also said that the television was 'a development of which we need waste little time dreaming'.
Twenty years later, film maker Darryl Zarrick said "people will soon get tired of starring at a plywood box every night". He was right about the plywood box part but he was wrong to believe that the television would become a boring idea.
Today, a lot of homes have television and the despised plywood box has become a member of almost every family world wide. Your ideas aren't dumb or impossible, they just need you to believe in them and pursue them. If you don't pursue your ideas, who will? 🤷
Dare the impossible. Dare to change the world.
