Dear Reader,
There might have come a time in your life where you felt like you really wanted to help others, but you couldn’t. There might be days when you really wanted to encourage someone else, but you needed more of the encouragement yourself. The truth is, everyone has had bad days. Everyone has had times when they felt less than they were designed to be. They have had people talk them down and say things to them that really hurt them.
The difference between being a failure and learning from failure is the mindset. Do not let your failures define you. You have more potential than you know. I am reading a book by Dr. Ben Carson called Think Big. I never knew a man so smart was once teased greatly by his classmates to the extent that he believed that he was the dumbest kid in school. Yet today he is greatly celebrated and admired by a lot of people. The secret I learnt from his story is this, self-development is the key to turning your life around.
He had to read 2 books a week when he was young and it turned his entire life around. You can do that for yourself also. Do not look down on yourself, rather inform yourself. You mind is like a sponge, it absorbs information. Feed it with the right stuff and your life would go in the right direction. You too can be great; your story also can be shared. It is time to start working on yourself.
