PPE

Today, I’ll be sharing with you a principle I call PPE and the importance of information and planning.

So here we go….

PPE is an acronym for P- Pray, P- Plan and E- Execute. I have used this on almost all my activities, from the little things to the very important things.

Pray: Prayer is communication with God; it’s basically having a chat with the Only Wise God. Imagine yourself having a friend who was really smart; like the guy/gal just knew everything, including the future. We sure would like to spend time talking to the person and sharing our ideas and plans with the person. We expect good ideas on how to go about our plans, stuffs that can make our ideas successful and just answers to random stuff like “why is there a voice in my head reading this message out load”.  God Loves you. John 3:16 is quite popular and it speaks of God sending Jesus to die for you; if He could give up His Only Son, what can’t He give up for you. So start first by asking for wisdom on how to go about the planning process. Ask for direction on how to go about your plans, the right people to work with and the right steps to take in order not to waste time on irrelevant stuffs.  Wisdom is key to successful planning, it saves you a lot of time and stress.

Plan: Now you’ve prayed and received wisdom from God, it’s time to plan. In planning, start first by acquiring the required information needed for whatever you want to do. For example, my dad had a personal goal to improve his personal fitness, so he got books on fitness, diet and body building. He went through them cover to cover, taking down notes on fitness, the right meals to eat, the right way to do the exercises and the right equipment to use. Based on those information, he drew up a schedule for himself. His schedule was to go to the gym at least 3 times a week and also, plans were made to get dumbbells at home. I also had fitness goals, so read some of his books and went online to see some more free-weight exercises. I know that your goals are achievable. Whatever your goals maybe, start first by getting the right information you need about what you want to achieve and then make plans and set up strategies based on the information you have gotten.

Execute: Planning without executing is a wasted effort. Most of us go as far as praying, making plans and drawing up strategies but when it gets to executing, we don’t follow through. Executing is the most important part of the whole process. After my dad made those plans, he went ahead to execute his plans. He went to the gym to work on his cardio and fitness, while at home he continued strength training. Overtime, the plans changed as he grew wiser and stronger and the strategies were modified. In the end he achieved his goals. I learnt from that and also executed my fitness plans. I went for morning jogs 3 times a week while in school and did some of the free-weight exercises in my room. When I got home, I used dumbbells to work out and I also joined a gym. In the end my goals were achieved and I got my six packs.

So as you go ahead with your goals for the year, apply the PPE principle and keep repeating the process of PPE until your goals are achieved. Plans will change over time but Prayer and Executing are secrets we need to successfully accomplish our goals. Your goals may be similar with mine but our strategies may not be the same. Start it all up with prayer, be creative in your planning process and have fun while executing your plans. Repeat this process until you achieve success. Goals can be achieved.

BE INPIRED. BE BLESSED.
