Happy New Year

Hello over there, I want to be among the long list of people to wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR! As I welcome you to 2018, I pray God opens strange doors of favour to you and cause you to ride upon the high places of life.

New year’s always start with celebration, we all gather around and count down the time as we say goodbye to the old year and usher in the new year. Calls are made, fireworks are shot and everyone goes into the year with so much expectation. Yet, throughout this year we so celebrated, the phrase ‘Life happens’ is often reoccurring. People throw up their hands in defeat, wondering why life seems so hard and the days seem so long. Why does the office seem so boring and life in general seem so stagnant? We all wonder.

Truth be told, we never really planned for the year we so celebrated. Few of us actually put in the work to plan for the new year. Yes, we all plan greatly for the ceremony that ushers in the new year. We get the food ready long before Christmas day, we invite guests over and have the table loaded with all kinds of delicacies. We exchange gifts and call or text people to share the compliments of the season. To usher in the New year, we start counting down days ahead. We get ready for Church judiciously, we buy the fireworks long before the time to shoot them and we already have the ingredients for the new year’s meal stored away in the closet.  So when the day comes, everything goes almost perfectly; if not absolutely as we imagined it in our heads.

Success isn’t really a farfetched thing. All that separates you from your resolutions or new year goals is a solid plan on how to achieve them. No edifice is built without a plan; neither is any ceremony successful without planning. Your life is the most important ceremony you would attend and once you leave, the ceremony is over. Hence, you are the star of the show. Give it your all this time, set out a solid plan for the New year and get ready for greater results this year.
